Kurukshetra University Online has a systematic pattern of online examinations to be done via the LMS of the university. The exams have been categorised into two: Continuous Assessment and Online Examination. They are proctored and conducted twice a year, in January and July.
Continuous Assessment (30%)
Continuous Assessment contributes 30% of the total evaluation and is conducted through the University LMS. Two assignments, each comprising 15% are assigned based on MCQ. The assignment includes 50 questions, each carrying 2 marks, and taking 1 hour. The assignments are required to be submitted before taking online exams at the end of the semester.
Online Examination (70%)
The Online Examination comprises 70% of the total marks. They are conducted in January and July as guided by UGC recommendations. Students are required to reserve one of three available exam slots, selecting a date, time, and subject. The exam is 3 hours long and consists of 42 objective questions (each worth 1 mark) and 4 subjective questions (each worth 7 marks), totalling 70 marks.
